Project Description
The Cochran
Fellowship Program at the US Department of Agriculture provides a
unique and important opportunity for food and agricultural
professionals to visit the United States and acquire valuable
information that can be used to strengthen both their individual
businesses and the food and agricultural sectors in their home
countries. Through their participation in classroom presentations
and discussions, as well as a comprehensive tour of a variety of
facilities and plants, the Fellows gained a better understanding of
effective cold storage practices and learned to implement these
practices in their own country.
