Partnership for Food Industry Development in Meats, Seafood, and Poultry (MSP)

A technical advisor to WFLO, working with WFLO logistical support in Washington, DC and in country support from World Laboratory International Centre for Scientific Culture (ICSC), traveled to Ukraine in July 2003 to: 1) investigate and gather information on current Association Building activities associated with the Year-Three Work Plan of the PFID project; 2) visit with past participants of WFLO sponsored activities to gather feedback and future needs, and 3) recommend specific programs and activities that would enhance the deliverables associated with the Year-Three and Year-Four Work Plans. Extensive interviews and site-visits were conducted in the region with a cross-section of individuals and companies involved with the PFID program. Approximately one week was spent gathering relevant data, contacting past participants of WFLO programs, and developing potential strategic directions for future activities.
