"Back to basics: Safe, efficient, and profitable cold storage and distribution"

Conference program & schedule

Over 160 refrigerated warehouse operators, suppliers, and other industry representatives gathered in Amsterdam on February 25-26 for the 11th European Cold Chain Logistics Education Program, organized by the Global Cold Chain Alliance. With delegates from 18 European countries, South Africa, Iran, the USA, Canada, and Mexico the event not only broke last year’s attendance record, with 22 companies represented in the trade show it also welcomed the highest number of exhibitors in its history.

The European Cold Chain Logistics Education Program is the only event in Europe that focuses completely on the cold storage, refrigerated ware-housing, distribution, and transportation industry. Delegates have the oppor-tunity to learn about the latest industry trends and development and to exchange experiences and ideas with international colleagues.

Compared to earlier editions, the event had undergone a few changes. New were the two-track concept – strategic and operational topics – on Monday afternoon and the focus sessions on Tuesday morning with presentations and discussions on Energy Saving & Efficiency and Labor & Productivity.

Traditionally, the program also featured a networking dinner, sightseeing opportunities, and a facility visit.
