During the industry networking dinner, European Council Chairman Mogens Svenstrup (Coldstar/Denmark) presented awards to five participants for their shown dedication to and support of the program. F.l.t.r. Svenstrup, Luc Bulcaen (Frigolanda/Belgium), Joao Gaitas (Frigomato/Portugal), Demetrios Stratos (Mave Ltd./Greece), Marcel Tuesink (Tyco FS&BP/Netherlands), and Andrew Baldwin (Reed Boardall/UK).

Manuel Cabrera Kabana (Frio Puerto Valencia/Spain) was awarded a plaque by IARW President & CEO bill Hudson in recognition and appreciation of his service to the European IARW Council.

For the fifth successive year, WFLO Treasurer Derk van Mackelenbergh (Eurofrigo/Netherlands) acted as Chairman of the Day. Therefore a special word of thanks from European IARW director Theo van Sambeeck (Netherlands).
