This exclusive member benefit gives IARW/IRTA/IACSC Associate Members (suppliers, consultants, etc.) the opportunity to design and present a training webinar that GCCA will host and broadcast to our membership. You can reach hundreds of cold chain professionals through this unique platform.

Who’s Eligible to Present a Webinar?

Any IARW/IRTA/IACSC Associate Members (suppliers, consultants, etc.) interested in penetrating our association membership through this far-reaching medium.

Presentation Guidelines for the Associate Webinar:

The webinar should primarily be positioned as an educational opportunity that addresses a broader business need or issue and secondarily as a sales pitch. Presenters should focus at least 80 percent of their presentation educationally and no more than 20 percent on selling or “pitching” their products and services. From long experience, we have learned that Associate Members that do the least selling during presentations are the ones who get the most business from our members. Education is the ticket!

Why Present a Webinar?

  • Reach the industry (both through webinar and comprehensive advertising program)
  • Demonstrate your product or service
  • Build new business
  • Position yourself as a subject matter expert
  • Enhance brand awareness
  • Real-time interaction with audience
  • Save on travel costs and time investment
  • Maintain an enduring presence on our association website through your archived webinar

What Do Webinar Presenters Receive?

  • Guaranteed participation of at least 30 member sites (no cost for members to attend webinar), which equals approximately 100 audience participants
  • Three email blasts to IARW and/or IRTA and/or IACSC members promoting your webinar and providing your company’s logo, description, and website link
  • One promotional article in Cold Connection, our association’s weekly e-newsletter
  • Event webpage featuring webinar description and registration information, your company’s logo and description, presenters’ bios and headshots, and links to your company’s website
  • Detailed contact list of participants pre and post event
  • Listing on association website event calendars
  • Enduring presence on association website through your archived webinar

What Are the Costs for Presenting?

The cost for a 60-minute webinar is $3,500.

Our webinars are professionally produced by event producers through our webinar provider, CommPartners. Event producers are the key to making the on-line event successful. A few of their services including:

  • Providing webinar platform
  • Moderating the event from start to finish
  • Managing audience questions
  • Conducting 60-minute training session with presenters to ensure polished, seamless webinar
  • Writing an opening script, closing script, and day of event production schedule.
  • Maximizing interactivity with audience by facilitating polls and other technology during presentation
  • Uploading and testing PowerPoint presentation to ensure optimal visibility and resolution

The audio portion of the webinar is operator-assisted to help minimize noise on the phone line and assist participants with any technical issues. We also have technical support reserved for the duration of our event to assist participants.

The event will be recorded and stored on our website for members to log-in and review at their convenience. Members who did not attend the live event will still have access to your content, potentially resulting in more business for you.
